Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa structure \u00e0 cellules ferm\u00e9es, il offre une excellente r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la compression m\u00eame \u00e0 une \u00e9paisseur minimale, \u00e9tant le choix optimal sous un parquet stratifi\u00e9 ou pour la correction des ponts thermiques.
